Coombe Residential has been an integral part of the local community for twenty eight years. Causes that benefit the education and wellbeing of young people have always been close to founder Hani Madanat’s heart, and over the years, the company has supported many worthwhile causes. From sponsoring a number of local state and independent schools, charities supporting orphanages across Africa, and more recently, helping to develop musical talent in young people by sponsoring The Thames Youth Orchestra, Coombe Residential is proud to give back to its community. Mouna Madanat is the main point of contact for the community outreach programme, and may be contacted at mouna@coomberesidential.com.

Yet again we would like to extend our enormous thanks to Hani and the whole team at Coombe Residential for their sponsorship support. Knowing we have a local company who are always there to support a school parent association and enrich the education of the boys shows just how much they value their local community and the future community through the children living in the area. Being able to collaborate with Hani and his team this year for our annual Fireworks, annual Summer fair and much more is highly appreciated by us all.
— Yvonna Raftopoulos, Chair of The Rokeby Parent Circle

Your contribution to sponsor our Fireworks Display, means a lot to us and we are very grateful for your support. The success of any charity is dependent on the support provided by generous people like you. It is because of you that we can continue to deliver our very best and serve our school and community.
— Katie Mulroe, Treasurer Trustee of Friends of Donhead
It’s been such a pleasure having you on the board, and I am so grateful for all the support you’ve given the orchestra over the years. Without having had you and Coombe as a sponsor, I don’t believe that the orchestra would have been able to grow in the way that it has done - your financial support has given us the freedom to be daring and bold in our ambitions, refusing to compromise on quality or on our core principles, the result of which has led us to the truly fantastic position we now see ourselves in, embedded in the wider community, with the backing of an established and forward-thinking institution, and therefore with the scope to enrich the lives of so many young people.
— Carys Evans, Executive Director Thames Youth Orchestra
Our work with TYO over the last decade would have been unthinkable without your wonderful generosity, support, energy, enthusiasm and wisdom: the community will be immeasurably reduced by your absence from it. It goes without saying that my gratitude goes beyond words, and I know I speak for the whole community, past and present, in saying that your part in all of our achievements (concerts, tours, the Barbican and more) was as significant as anyone’s. We simply could not have accomplished what we have without you.

I would also like to thank you, personally, for your trust and belief in my judgements and decisions over the years. Your friendship and guidance has been of incalculable value, and I will miss very much your boundless energy and positivity at our trustees meetings.
— Simon Ferris, Musical Director, Thames Youth Orchestra & Thames Youth Jazz Orchestra
